HB 4168 - taxation; omnibus; 2026-2027 (Veteran Property Tax Exemption)
Arizona's new Veteran property tax program, beginning with tax year 2027 (payments due in October 2027), expands eligibility to disabled Veterans with ratings from 10% to 100%, removes income and home value limits, and provides a full property tax exemption for Veterans rated 100% service-connected or receiving TDIU. Veterans with lower disability ratings receive a proportional property tax reduction, and surviving spouses can continue to receive the benefit under qualifying conditions.
